The National Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) Conference finished last week with great success.
Club Support, as a Gold Corporate Partner of CMAC, had the privilege of attending this remarkable event, which took place in Toronto, Ontario, from October 14th to 18th.
The details of the event
The theme of this year’s Conference was “Innovate – Navigate – Motivate,” focusing on addressing the daily challenges that Clubs currently face in their operations. Innovate – Bringing new methods and trends; Navigate – Directing the path to future success; and Motivate – Creating the enthusiasm and culture to get others on board. Over the four days, attendees were led through sessions on DE&I, Cybersecurity, Pay Transparency, Tapping Into our Mental Strength, and precisely what Gen-Z is seeking in an employer.
A lot of insights from Keynote Speaker, author, and restauranteur Will Guidara. Will is the author of the National Bestseller “Unreasonable Hospitality”, which chronicles the lessons in service and leadership he has learned over the course of his career in restaurants. He is the former co-owner of Eleven Madison Park, which, under his leadership, received four stars from the New York Times, three Michelin stars, and in 2017 was named #1 on the list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
The conference began with a networking opportunity at the CN Tower, one of Toronto’s most iconic destinations known for offering a world-class experience and providing the best views in Canada.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the organizers for their exceptional planning and execution of this event. Your efforts have made this experience immensely enjoyable.

We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with CMAC and its members, providing resources to strengthen the positive impact of CMAC and the club management profession throughout Canada.
