Our Story
The story of Club Support started with a passion for IT and an understanding of the unique niche market.
When I went to visit Scarboro Golf & Country Club in 1997 I came across amazing people and an environment that made me want to come back. And I did come back. Fast forward a few years and Club Support was formed to service this unique niche market of the Club Industry.
The key was to understand the needs of the industry and focus on the service part of it. The Club industry is service oriented and learning this early helped us to become a very important part of delivering the service that Clubs strive to provide to their Members.
As Club Support grew it started to focus on wider aspects of technology requirements, from day-to-day support of IT needs to big projects such as providing technical assistance during a rebuild of the Club House, from procurement of new servers and computers to making sure Clubs’ IT is protected from the wild west of the internet. As technology proliferates more and more aspects of Clubs’ operations there is more and more need to manage the technology and make it work for Clubs.
We are at Club Support looking forward to all the new challenges that we see as opportunities to expand our knowledge and bring the Club industry into the next technological era.
